Anything helps. My truck needs a lot of work…next stop is a new rollbar for peace of mind, and a OEM carb rebuild.
I was recently laid off from my job August of this year (2023) and as much as I love doing this stuff and talking all the time to people with questions, it doesn’t pay the bills unless you have 1K subscribers. Sorry about the ads! That’s all KZbin.

OVERVIEW & PROCESS:
What was supposed to be a quick stereo install soon became a much bigger restoration project that took multiple months. Unlike the guy who owned it before me, I wasn't willing to cut corners with the new stereo, as I'm still determined to do a full-scale restore.
When I wasn't working, I was researching or problem-solving along the way. Back in the day, my nickname used to be Lizzie Logistics, and using that skill to break this down into steps for parts of it was important in this process.
Keep in mind that this is my first video on the channel mind you, so do keep that in mind since it's not all cinematography-like. Photography is my specialty, video on the other hand? Not so much.
I've done work on other parts of my truck besides solely the interior, but anything requiring hyperfocused detail work seems to be where my obsession lies. Haven't seen all that many interior restorations on KZbin University, so hopefully, this gets people excited.
I FORGOT to mention, make is to use grommets for the speaker wires, I also used Kilmat inside the doors, and of course, insulated terminal wire connectors in the door. If I do a video on that soon, I'll go way more into depth there. I'll also be adding products I used in this project soon right down below so stay tuned for that.
As I said before, the more support this channel gets, the more videos I can add from my backlogs breaking down specific processes featured in this restore. Once I get more subscribers, it's game on baby.
Happy 40th Birthday to all those 1982 Toyota 4x4 beasts out there!
