Thanks for watching! I love finding projects like this that bring life and classic games into the modern era. If you're a fan of the early Driver series of games you can finally play Driver 2 natively on a modern PC. Looking forward to seeing this project progress. Anyone else tried this?

I've been meaning to check this video out since it was mentioned on the This Week in Retro podcast. Looks like a great project and very impressive! I have to admit the police cars falling off the bridge at around 5:05 did get a chuckle out of me 😄

I'd be interested to hear how this works out versus using emulation and the ISO - is widescreen mode and potential better textures future the main bonus?

Well from what I understand better textures will come but the main thing is the game has been reversed engineered to add coding improvements, improving gameplay and remove bugs etc. It is early days but I am looking forward to following the progress.

for some reason every time i try to play the game after fully installing it i get this error "this thread attempted to write an inaccessible address" even though i followed all the instructions
