The perfect synthesis of passionate politics and rock'n roll...they might have been SWP but I loved them all the same as they put their politics at the heart of their music, which not only inspired activism but also 'a turn on the dance floor' - no better combination. If only we had bands today with the integrity and conviction of these guys....

Fooking great!! But Muriel Grey? What a douche! Not much hair! Never mind her though. Remember this? Back in the days when even smash hits magazine would ask where a bands political alliegances lay in an interview! Its not essential by any means, but it was nice that bands back then often(usually) had an opinion or a political/social point to speak about. As i said, In my opinion it was nice! I think the modern music scene & in fact society and our culture as a whole is missing this today! I
