Rule of thumb: For output, dust = w e a k, everything else = STRONK For input, dust needs STRONK, but everything else can run on _snickers_ w e a k every redstoner: imma use dust

The lower piston works because of quasi connectivity (which is the result of how doors work being two blocks or so I hear.)

So most of us who are relatively intermediate (like myself) already have an "intuition" for these interactions but if you're like me, have a really shitty self-explanation for these phenomena which makes teaching it to others difficult. This is what separates intermediate from expert. Very well put

This feature actually makes sense when you think about what would happen if there wasn't weak and strong power: redstone dust into a block could power redstone dust on the other side of the block. That would be pretty broken.

i think wool is used because its an old multicolour block thats reasonably easy to farm in survival too; if concrete were added before wool we'd probably all be using concrete instead

6:04 you do a chad move timing it correctly to change the block without breaking the thing attached to it press both right and left click at the same time it'll replace the block in a weird way useful if is a lone block on the air

This is the rule in my head. Strong Powered Blocks are Blocks that acts Redstone Blocks that only Redstone Dusts can detect on the X and Z axis.

That is certainly not true. QC is common knowledge within redstone circles, but those who are learning tend to not know about it.
