Thank you so much for sharing this great information on Redwood park. I just got back from there and leading up to the trip I must have watched your video about 30 times. You did a marvelous job, thank you🌲

Wow, thanks for the kind reply. It brings us joy to hear you found it useful. We hope to return someday with one of our plant loving family members. The plants and trees are just mesmerizing. Did you have a favorite trail?

I would have to agree with you guys, the James Irvine trail to Miner's Ridge trail to the Clintonia trail was best. The difference is I came in through Fern Canyon and left through Fern Canyon. Boy Scout tree Trail was right there also in a very close second, but as you know it's all extremely beautiful. Now I will be watching your Sequoia videos, that's next on the list!🌲💚

Don’t skip Kings Canyon. Our favorite hike in all of Sequoia and Kings Canyon was the Hart Tree trail and I believe it’s in KC. Happy trails!

Next time try the Damnation Creek Trail. It leaves a tiny parking area along 101, south of Crescent City, and winds down a thousand feet or more of elevation to the rocky ocean shore. Halfway back up you'll realize how the trail was probably named.

Haha. It looks like a great hike. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll give it a try. Thanks for the recommendation. Happy trails!

Love your videos. Are permits necessary for all these trails, especially in Jedediah ? We will be doing our trip in July 2022!!!!
@BuckeyeDrifters2 жыл бұрын
Hi Kimberly. As far as we know, the Tall Trees Trail was the only trail that requires a permit. Of all the hikes in Jedediah we did, a permit was not required. You are going to love the redwoods! Thanks for the kind comment 😊.

What do the redwood tree leaves look like?

Their leaves are more like needles than conventional leaves 😊
