Hello, if you use the seat belt to secure the seat, it can't swivel. Moreover, the swivel function of this seat was designed for children get in and out of the car easier.

@@willedwards9060 Seat belts are only required for forward-facing seat Installation. Rearward facing(0-18kg): ISOFIX+Top tether. Forward facing(9-36kg): ISOFIX+Seat belt. If your child is less than 18 kg, we recommend that you mount the seat in the rear-facing direction. It can better protect the child's head and spine.
