Welcome Pam! :) Gutted out the t5s and used black screws to screw them in from the top. Lining up was a bit tricky but worked out.

Question for you...... Is it better to do more blue or blue and white,.... I'm newer to the hobby and I have the 34 gallon Red Sea Max 130d ,and a fluval Evo 13.5 . But just got an air prime 16 HD sol for the low.....and my red sea max runs in the warm side too was good through the winter but now trying to keep temp down

I had cyanobacteria I used chemiclean. Boom 💥 gone 48 hours and coral safe just have to use an air pump and a large air stone to put oxygen in the water then after 48 hours do a water change bam clean tank.....

Glue a frag plug on the rock next to the encrusting monti it will grow onto it then you can pop off the plug and you’ll have a frag. Then you can cut the frag plug into pieces for more frags once it grows

cyano is from to low nutrients. got to have .05 to .08 phos. and 20-25ppm nitrates.. sounds crazy but you will never have cyano blooms unless you are at 0 phos and 0 nitrates. also having some phos and nitrates helps the zooxanthellae the live in the coral to break nutrients down into amino acids for the coral. tank looks awesome. happy 2 years!

Hey! Actually my nutrients are too high! My phosphate was at .4!

@@DreamStateLiving wwc brs reef builders and many others recommend. 5 to .8. You should beok at .4. But you don't wanna shoot for zero. Zero phosphates is what brings the ciano and dianos. Good luck happy reefing. 😊
