Just wanted to report that they have their power back. Huge thanks to everyone for rallying behind the Meckleys and ACI Aquaculture. I spoke to him today and he was so grateful to every single one of you. Let's keep being there for one another. Happy reefing!

thanks Alisa. I didn't do much, it was more of Shane then anything else. Yes, so many fantastic people got behind ACI and rallied for them. I am so proud of our community.

Really good on all you practicing the reefer's code by helping each other out. No one should have to do it alone!

I agree, it's the way! Luckily almost everything was good when I looked through the coral vats. The temperature was regulated in time, lights were cycled and water was moved also they were forced to do large water changes which I think helped in the grand scheme of things. Thanks for watching!

I know the feeling of no power and no light. It’s stressful and brutal. 4 days is definitely pushing it. Drains you after 2-3 days. I’m glad you guys were able to get the help needed. No shame in that. A lot of large systems need a lot of fuel and generators. I didn’t realize you guys got hit that hard until this video. I’m glad you got power back now, and hopefully there will be very minimal losses thx to the amazing people who went the extra mile and dedicated equipment and fuel. Best of luck in the coming days and A/C is going to feel very nice! Now just keep it stable, and cross your fingers. 🙏🏼🫡🤞🏼

@@Reefahholic I think you are from Houston right? Yea, you certainly would know. You guys had a lot of storms and outages there recently as well. As for the animals, luckily almost everything was looking good when I looked through the vats while installing the chillers and checking their temperatures frequently. I think they will be fine. The temperature was regulated in time, lights were cycled and water was moved. Also they were forced to do large water changes which I think helped in the grand scheme of things. Keeping my fingers 🤞 for them as well that the damage/death would be at bare minimum. Thanks for watching and for your kind words.
