Here's a quick and classic Québécois tune because my dad and I are about to head out the door to lead the French-Canadian session at the Couth Buzzard! It's called "Reel des copeaux de bois" and it's from the great Québécois fiddler Aimé Gagnon of Lotbinière. We looked it up and "copeaux de bois" means wood shavings, so my dad's definition was pretty close! Anyways, this tune is super fun to play and has some real Québécois bowings. Should I teach it as a fiddle lesson? Let me know in the comments!
