Have been using those baby Alletts all my life in Ireland (previously known as Qualcast 35s). Pete even though you think it's cassette feels well built the actual tine carriers aren't that rugged and are prone to breaking if the moss or thatch is tough. Good idea to buy a bag of tines for them as well as they can fall out quite easily if conditions are trying. Wonderful that you have the new battery model. As much as I love the sound and smell of a petrol mower, I'd definitely go the battery route if I was buying a new machine. Congrats on the new mowers. They look fantastic.

Pete - Check our the RM35 Allett, high vacuum rotary mower. It is a lawn striping machine that mows up to 2.95”. Brooms up blades in front and has cylinder in rear to lay down turf.

Allett should get you to do some vids of a lawns restoration using one. there's a couple of demos but nothing meaningful . They have a A towable roller as well that you can sit on it like a boss
