First! 🎉😂 Thanks for all the extra details in this video. I had no idea the relief grind bedknife acted like that for backlaps.

Love my Rev! Also based on your calculations I'll be back lapping twice a month lol. Yes I have a big lawn and love to mow

Wish I had a Revolution 26 to backlap! One day I’ll replace a 19yr old 20” TruCut that I bought 4 yrs ago getting into reel mowing. But until then I’ll keep buying those replacement parts from your store.

Great job Lee and RR team!! Any need to lubricate the chains as well? Thanks! 👍

To set it up for backslapping, should I leave some clearance between the reel and the bed knife? I know in some of your other non Revolution video you have suggested that. I have a feeler gauge that I use to test the gap between the reel and bedknife so can I very precise. Thanks.

probably worth specifying that you need a thin walled socket to spin the reel

So I guess us cold season owners don’t have to backlap? Hahaha

@@AMaleet lol. In full transparency, I am unfamiliar with mowing cool season grass with a reel mower so please, educate me because I’m unsure how Rye and KBG wear reels
