I hope Asia, you and BJ have many, many years together. I had 25 years with my husband. New Years Eve was the 4th anniversary of his death. I don't get the golden years of sitting in the rockers on the front porch say hey, you remember when ... And laughing. ... I don't know if I can go thru any of that again. The bs years of getting to really know each other. A good marriage takes a lot of work and I don't know if I have the strength to do it all again. 😢❤ So...... If God wants me to have another husband he better send him, because I'm not looking. To quote Angelica Houston in Lonesome Dove, "I don't think I'll marry again. The older I get the less use I have for men, and there are very few who are honest." Then Robert Duvall says, "I'm about half honest." Angelica says, "and that's the truth." I'll just see what God has in store for me. God bless ✌️✌️ & ❤❤

This April will be the 5th year anniversary of my husband of 20 years passing. It makes me sad to think of missing out on the golden years together, but our grown sons keep me going. I don't think I will ever marry again either. I have learned to be content. I wish you the best.

Sorry for your loss, but I understand what you are saying. I lost my husband many years ago. I was only 34 when he died, and I dated, but I just didn't want to marry again. My husband was my childhood sweetheart. I'm a senior now and I'm good spending time with my son and my grandson.

Fun Fact: In the scene where Billy Crystal does the funny voice in the museum, that was improvised. If you notice, when he does it, Meg Ryan laughs and looks off to the right with a slightly confused look on her face. She is looking over at the director Rob Reiner who mouths to her "go with it." That's why her reaction is a bit more serious and focused on what Billy is saying and mimicking him. I say "Baby Fish Mouth" and "you're right. you're right. I know you're right." randomly a few times a year.

Hey guys, Happy New Year, love the color scheme in your movie theater today!! I worked as a background actor on this film, I was placed right behind Billy and Meg along with a blond young lady and we were instructed to pretend like we were madly in love. We did not even get a chance to introduce ourselves before we started kissing and making out, after about 20 minutes we got a break and I shook the ladies hand and told her I dont normally make out with strangers but these are rather unusual circumstances. Billy and Meg were both very nice and chatty with us in between shooting. You can see us at about 30:58 minutes into this reaction. Fun fact the original working title of this was " Harry this is Sally"

I'm not really much of a chick flick type of guy. But there are a few that rise above the others and are absolutely worth seeing. And I think that when Harry met Sally is number one in that top 3. The story line the actors the dialogue. All of it makes it a step above the others. Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal were really cast well and they had chemistry. And I for one have liked Billy Crystal and everything I've ever seen him in. FYI, I don't recall in your reaction, If you ever mentioned that you were aware that the gal with the short hair is Princess Leia from Star Wars.

Oh my gosh, good one! My friend & I were obsessed with this movie in college. We recorded the sound from the TV onto two cassette tapes & typed up the script together using the school computer lab, so we could follow along as we watched. (This was back when cassettes were a thing, lol. Also when students had to use the computer lab to type papers in college, because no one I knew had a personal computer.) Years later, my husband bought me the script in book form for our anniversary, which was such an awesome surprise! Our love story: We met working at Hardees as teens, but were just co-workers. We continued to work at Hardees in the summers when I came home from college. And then one summer... everything changed. It took a couple years at separate colleges for us to grow up & realize that we weren't going to find love looking elsewhere & that the "summer relationship" we'd had meant more than we'd initially realized. Next year will be our 30th anniversary. 💜

@@ryanaromero mind you these are not in any order, situations and moods apply, and so does the participant of the conversation and topic. When she’s not picking up the phone or mad at me: “The fact that you're not answering leads me to believe you're either (a) not at home, (b) home but don't want to talk to me, or (c) home, desperately want to talk to me, but trapped under something heavy. If it's either (a) or (c), please call me back.” When she does something or I do something that we normally wouldn’t do because now we’re older and parents: “I think I’m growing.” Casually: “I got a 9.8 from the Canadians, a perfect 10 from the Americans, and my mother, disguised as an East German judge, gave me a 5.6. Must have been the dismount” “Everybody thinks they have good taste and a sense of humor but they couldn't possibly all have good taste.” Random: “Ehhhh. I'm sorry. I need the judges ruling on this. ‘Days of the weeks underpants’?” (Just to say something random to make people go huh?) “Mr. Zero knew…” “You made a woman meow?” - the entire _Pepper_ and _Pecan Pie_ conversation - (because it’s fun and dorky) “You know, I have a theory that hieroglyphics are just an ancient comic strip about a character named Sphinxy” “Somewhere between 30 seconds and all night is your problem.” If you have gotten this far, mind you I’m a dork and I speak in movie quotes half of the time because I love good stories, especially ones with good script writers. Besides I have ruined friendships, that I. thought there was something more& it was saddest because we weren't even friends anymore after getting physical. That's what they mean about sex getting in the way,. Men& women can be just friends, if you care& honest with them and yourself

"Those are the French ruffles! You can make drapes out of those." 🤣 Y'all were cracking me up during this! Loved your couply cuteness during this movie; adorable! 😊 Everyone who knew me when this movie came out saw it and said, You're a Sally. I am so picky just like her. Lol. Sadly, I'm not as pretty, so I don't get away with it like she does though. 🙃 Happy New Year!!! May it bring you peace and prosperity also! ❤🥂🎆

One night in 1951 my father, 21, was coming back from the bar and collapsed drunk in my grandparents yard. My grandma woke up her 16 year old daughter and told her she was going to play cards with the nice boy while he sobered up so that his mother (who lived down the block) didn’t see him in such a state. That is how my mother and father first met

She’s right about that dress. It’s ugly now and it was ugly when the movie came out. Just, bad. It probably didn’t help that it looked three sizes too big for Carrie Fisher. Yep. Bad sleeves. Bad cut. No bueno.

I especially love the bits with the older couples, I believe they were real couples. The fake orgasm scene is a classic. The other great Rom Com with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks is "You've Got Mail." Great reaction! 👍👍👍

I bought this soundtrack on CD in 1992 when I was in the air force. I still have it! At the time I didn't even see the movie yet, lol! I just got it cause Harry Connick Jr. reminded me of home and he was featured on the soundtrack!
