@@mississa-b It will vary from artist to artist but for mine I have tattoos in color that were $200 and under and were beautifully done so her pricing is really high especially for as minimalistic as they are.

@@mississa-b Usually about $50-$100 base price, then about $10 for each color, and bigger the size or more detail picture goes up from there. $300 should buy a semi detailed multi color 4 inch by 4 inch tattoo She is charging 300 base and then adding on top of that.

I got several fine line tattoos and they stay just same as I got. I got small delicate cherries and my dog and some flowers. I’ve done them 3-4 years ago. If you get tattoos from proper tattoo artists, they stay same 😂😂😂 It’s definitely expensive, but worth it! All my tattoos are done from Korean tattoo artists. They are so skillful!

Actually not true. Who knows what poisonous stuff was in yours. Approved tattoo ink has to dissolve little bit to be approved. With a tattoo that thin it is more noticeable

I think it’s shady to provide a service that is basically designed to REQUIRE a touch up when you know most of your clientele are traveling to see you and therefore will have to travel twice. Also in my experience, if a lot of people won’t do a certain thing or do it in a certain style, there’s a good reason why.

Love the tattoo! But fine lines this fine don't always age the best! Overtime the lines will blow out and they're high maintenance due to extra costs to get it touched up. Just hope you knew that going in, and if you did, then that's cool. I feel like sometimes artists don't disclose this about these types of tattoos. Definitely recommend you looking into an artist that doesn't charge as much though, that is a super high price for what you paid. But hey, maybe you didn't know but I think from all these comments at least you're well informed now :)

$300, is really a scam for that price you can get a high quality tattoo that is way bigger, here in the Netherlands the average starting rate is about €. 60,00 . Somtaht tattoo wouldn’t be more than that. But kudos for getting the amount for 20 minutes of ‘work’.

Absolutely! Like I got my 3X5 inch tattoo on my lower arm for €300($326) here in France! Where my tattoo artist personally measured each inch, and size along with patterns and gave this a price in which was done truthfully. This video makes me feel nothing but bad for this poor woman who was literally scammed out of her money.

Good luck in 3 years when it's gone. Fine line and micro tattoos are a waste of money and are ridiculously overpriced for the lack of stability. In 3 to 6 years itll either disappear or be a blob. They constantly need topping up and doing that creates scar tissue and will just cause problems. As a heavily tattooed woman, go get a proper tattoo. Dont waste your money on micro and fine line tattoos.

@@mandeeeorz yeah? Well done. How many times has it been retouched? Is it a micro tattoo? Do you wear sunscreen on your tattoo? Where is the tattoo? It's a well known fact micro and fine line/single needle tattoos do not hold up. Just like tattoos with too much detail, tattoos that are 90% black, tattoos without an outline, watercolour tattoos. They dont hold up. It could be 3 years, 5 years, 10 years but it will end up looking a mess. Ya know what helps a tattoo? Good aftercare, wearing sunscreen all the time, where the tattoo is. It's well known tattoos that are in places that are covered all the time or regularly like arms, backs, chest, legs etc will fade slower. I'm not a snob, I'm not elitist, I'm well versed. I've put a lot of time and research into my hobby, I've done enough research on micro and fine line and other problematic tattoos I know what I'm talking about. I've had to. I've spent hundreds of thousands on my body art and I'm not gonna waste my money or my time without researching responsibly. They dont hold up. Dont believe me? Do your own research. Also 300 dollars for a tattoo that wont hold up is a rip off and again, if your tattoo is a word or sentence, it needs to be legible! If it's not legible it's a shit tattoo. Theres a reason not all fonts are suitable for tattoos.
