i would disagree with any who complain about you repeating yourself. your videos are not boring, and rookies like me need the lessons repeated if i am to learn. your channel is excellent Mr Chan.

Superb work Peter. The group now looks like a lonely grove one might see off in the distance, on the top of a hill.

I love these kind of forest bonsai! I really like the dead tree in the middle it just gives the whole forest a wonderful wabi-sabi feel to it. Great video as always, thank you for uploading! 👍👍

It's winter here in Australia. And although I can't wait until I have some growth to tame, you're spot on about allowing/leaving little trees to grow, so they are healthy. I have around 15 little trees (plants) in training and it's always tempting to get stuck into them with the snips and wire, however this coming spring I might just upsize their pots and put them on a gluttonous diet of fertilizer and see where they want to go.

What a beautiful tree! I also have a needle juniper that I'm trying to educate as a root over rock bonsai. I repotted it this spring for the first time, but maybe I was being a bit rough. Because several needles, old and new, turned brown and then no new ones grew. I hope I didn't kill it.

Thank you for posting this video Peter. What a lovely raft group. Your undoubted expertise shines out again, I expect many of us wouldn't know where to begin. Love watching you working on your older trees, ones we haven't seen before.

juniper seeds are super hard to get to germinate.....they need just the right stratification to germinate....some take up to 2-3 year.

Anyone who has the audacity to complain about someone of Mr Chan’s caliber, who is kind enough to pass on his vast knowledge to anyone who is interested because he may repeat things, should really take a good long hard look within and find what the real problem is.
