To anybody struggling in a relationship - there as SO many people out there and everyone deserves to be properly loved. Out of those many people, there is somebody who will be well-suited to you. One must just understand themselves well to know what kind of person would be better suited to them. Look at lifestyle, interests and values. These are SO important and you need not compromise so extremely that you feel really bothered and confused. Believe that a healthy relationship is possible! I am in the most amazing relationship and past me would never believe it would be possible but it is! Wishing everyone the best 2024 :)

the noticing what you do when you’re triggered is so true!! I’m going to really start paying attention to that. I find sometimes I almost use being triggered as justification to do a bad behaviour as punishment, if that makes sense?

yeah completely! and that’s okay, it’s all a learning process. be kind to yourself and understand that the you’re doing those behaviours to make yourself feel safe. if you can try start finding more comforting ways to make you feel you safe you can slowly overtime swap them❤️ but even i have days when i do that, but eventually turn to something loving to get me out of that place x
