It is a known tactic used to discredit witnesses, it has been employed in Ch. A. cases. The witnesses' validity can be checked against descriptions of the interior of the building and thus verified by a jury tour of the property. By demolishing the building, the jury only have the witnesses' descriptions of how it appeared - they are unable to verify the information themselves, thus they have no benchmark for the accuracy of the witness.

There could be other factors why they tore it down. It could've been something as simple as a safety issue. If they removed flooring or if it was deemed a biohazard. Or even the fact there's a bunch of college kids around all the time, drinking....and it was just too risky to have someone break in and post photos on social media. I just hope they have some way of showing the acoustics of the interior, as just having 3D imaging will not account for that. I've been following the case since day 1, and I still have the same "persons of interest" that I want to see the interrogations of. DM, BF, JD, JS and Adam. I haven't heard anything in 2 years that has removed any of them from suspicion. Especially DM. In the middle of the whole thing, and the 8hr delay to notify LE.
