This is what makes the Greens so awesome - they've spent 16+ years being sincerely kind to each other. So when the shit hits the fan & they may be having big feelings, there's nothing remotely unnatural or awkward about them being sincere & kind to each other on a public forum. It's a tragedy that so many of us don't have that kind of relationship with our families & friends

John, You’ve hopefully gotten at least 1 million messages of hope and support for Hank (and yourself) while you and your families deal with it. Something I thought I would mention, in case Hank doesn’t know and he wants it: he can ask the pathology lab for recuts of biopsies. Basically, he can ask for his cancer on a microscope slide that a pathologist looked at and diagnosed. I know he loves microscopy. And that seems like a pretty BA thing to have. Maybe even framed or something. Who knows, he could have a tee shirt pattern made of it. Here’s hoping one day you get to see this because even if it’s many years later, the hospital will keep those slides for years and years. I’ve followed you from 2007 and this is the first time I’ve written though I have heard you speak in person before. Here’s to another 16 years of you and Hank.

Burst into tears at the end of this because you can really see how much John loves his little brother and just wants to look after him T.T

Enjoying watching John get more and more whatever is happening with his eyes the longer he sits in as CEO, not so much for the now, but for the later when the job goes back to Hank so we can see him so relieved.

I could never be a CEO, so much social interaction and responsibility. You're doing so great though!

As happy as I am to see John shouldering his new responsibilities, I cannot stress enough how INSPIRING it is to hear him talk about how he's not cut out for it.

It just dawned on me what John and Hank are. Beyond the many things, obvious or not, they are curators of hope. I don't believe this to be an explicitly identified goal, but I believe the essence of it to be a driving force behind many of the forms of awesome they adopt. I can't thank you both enough, nor can I articulate why it's so important that you keep fighting the good fight, that you keep not forgetting to be awesome. You help to remind so many of us to do the same each day

It's weird how Hank having cancer has in fact made watching both of you a much happier experience. Incredible how you both can take these unfortunate times and spin them into such memorable situations.

I’m loving this era of extra-earnestness. PS John thanks for the P4A tiktok drafts, even though there’s a shocking lack of tuberculosis content! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💖

@1:26 - John, I regret to inform you but that IS the vibe of most meetings! The number of times I've headed off meetings by asking "are there specific questions to be answered?" and then answering them, in email, is STAGGERING!!

The title change from "I Am Such a Good CEO" to "Reflections from a Terrible CEO" has got me dead. 💀 I guess people weren't getting the sarcasm?

I feel personally called out by that meandering list of business ideas, that's too close to my texts about marketing & merchandising that I constantly bombard my co-author with. That poor man... I'm sorry I'm Like This, Alex, thanks for sticking with me 🙇🏻♂️

You two guys have to be the two most wholesome human beings I've seen on youtube to date. I talk to my own brother more now thanks to watching this channel.

I just want to say that as always this community just outdoes itself. How everyone (including John and Hank) is taking this situation just warms my heart and makes me believe in humanity, which as we all probably know is not an easy thing.
