My God is most merciful. I had severe coronavirus in December of 2020, and Allah granted me continued life and healing for the sake of my young children. I am so so grateful to Al Rahman, Al Raheem.

2020 brought me back to Allah, while everything was falling apart He was putting me back together bringing me back to Him changing me so that I could see that it was only Him that was going to get me through this life. It was a year of rebirth just like you sisters said. I’m forever grateful for 2020 because without it i would not have been able to recognize that I was dying while still alive and that I was wasting my life and ruining the meeting we are certain to have with Allah.

In deed; the legacy of 'sister Mona' in Episode 1 of Season 3 of Honest Tea Talk reminds me of my late wife(sister Seray) of 'North Brixton Masjid' SW9 in a similar manner interns of her strong dedication to the wishes of the recommended books of various forms-of- Faith. She 'passed-away' on 22/02/2020 and was buried at GARDEN-OF-PEACE... I continure to say; may 'Allah(swt) grant us generally the expected abode in Jan'nna when-ever our life-span is completed on plant-earth........'ameen'.

Well seeing so so many life's taken away was heartwrenching and apart from that coming to my journey 0f 2020 Though it has been a curse to the world It was Allhumdullilah very blessed year to me I got pregnant by the grace of Almighty (Allhumdullilah)and by battling certain complications in my pregnancy i gave birth to a healthy baby boy Allhumdullilah..... My due date was of jan 2021 but my baby came at the end of dec 2020 Surely it was Allah Azzawajjals plan to teach me that i cant hate this year ...i have to remember it as a blessing not that of a curse Subhan Allah Very great episode sisters It just ended soon in the blink of an eye to me.... Woooaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!! what an episode Allaahumma barik!!!! the best ever! So glad to have you beautiful, amazing women back Ma sha Allaah. The emotions were Subhan'Allaah. 2020 made me slow down and look inwardly too, but when I did, I couldn't face all the cracks and rawness of myself despite all the self care and positive things I do for myself daily. It was difficult to deal with so many different emotions at once and I felt like I was going mad. Alhamdulillah after a mental breakdown I decided it was time to get help. I spent thousands, but Allaahumma Barik it was the most epic investment I've ever made in my entire life because now I'm healed and love myself so deeply despite my flaws. Alhamdulillah what a year! a beautiful lesson and blessing.

MachAllah! I learn a lot from your wisdom and experiences and I relate so much to what you have shared in this poignant episode. I was tested recently and I felt so down, always asking ‘why me?’ or thinking I don’t deserve this. But al hamduleh it goes back to your points of reflecting, pausing, fixing the crack and healing; that has indeed changed my perception and put all my trust in Him, and now instead of saying ‘why me?’, I say ‘why NOT me?´ Allah truly knows what He is doing and al hamdulleh it paid off at the end with hearing positive news to my issue. My test has completely changed me and enabled me to discover new relationships and avenues of interactions with Him. Thank you so much and looking forward to listening to more episodes. Alhamdulillah. The episode was fulfilling as usual. I could relate with almost all that was said. At a point in 2020, i felt guilty that i had so much time to myself and wasn't achieving more. I think these times of uncertainty only brought out the reality which is that this life was always uncertain and I think by bringing out that reality it forced us to place our tawakul in Allah this is an opportunity that Allah has given us to exercise that tawakul. So I would say “ In this life of uncertainty always place your trust in the One Who is certain, Allah.”

Ma’Sha’Allah allahumma barik, I’m a man and watching you sisters talks and women’s prospective on life enlightens me. In’Sha’Allah one day I will have a wife, daughter and be able to understand. I grew up not having a father as my dead passed away when I was around 10, so I learned things from mum and sisters, hence a lot of respect for women.
