I remember one big thing that changed from the very first split, that didnt seem to get any attention is he got just better at his champion pool, especially azir. When he first came to NA he played all the balls deep assasins, like riven, zed, fizz, syndra, etc. in soloq. But in his first split c9 forced him azir & ori in like 90% of their games, and his azir, not even considering team communications, was somewhere about bottom 3 across all leagues and it took him quite a while to get comfortable with that champ.

Well. I dont think he downplayed him. Rekkless coming in was suppose to be best western adc. But as the years went on and he got worse teams he showed clear flaws and didnt live up to the hype that community creates. After season 4 i started valuing other adc's higher than him

Not really, his opinion of reckless is that hes a good clean up adc. Its not that he doesnt respect reckless but he just values way more hard carries like Forg1ven and Freeze than clean up adcs like Reckless and Hjarnan.

I wonder if it would be more "rewarding" to play the regular split as Jensen said it, if you'd have the same system as LCK, where the team winning regular split would wait in the finals. Would that be rewarding? You have more information on your opponents, and get to rest more before an exhausting best of 5 where winner takes it all?
