After several failed attempts, the Reform party leader has finally been elected as an MP.
Mr Farage took Clacton in Essex from the Conservatives with almost 50% of the vote. 21,225 votes v Con: Giles Watling 12,820.
He steered Reform to four seats so far and the third-highest share of the vote.
In his victory speech, Mr Farage called the result 'truly extraordinary' and warned Keir Starmer that he's coming for Labour next.

It's the left that worry so much about PR as they know the system would then not be corrupt in their favour. Labour got about 2% more vote share than when they lost to tories in 2019 yet ended up with about 2/3 of the total seats. Reform got about 4 million votes and 5 seats as now has been counted due to the miscount in Basildon but Lib Dem got half a million less votes and ended up with about 65 more seats. It's a system that doesn't properly represent the people. Anyone that denies it is simply down to the fact that it's in their favour.
