In the first 5 minutes I had tears in my eyes. I just love these men so much and I know they love each other so very much as well. I’m about to ask a very stupid question I just can’t seem to figure out. Does Lawson believe in full immersion adult baptism or not?You would think with all the back and forth on this topic that I would have been able to figure it out by now, but I truly just get more confused. Is he serious or joking when he says; “A little dab will do ya.” How bout Begg? What does he actually believe about baptism? Idk man. I think I would be a good Presbyterian EXCEPT for the fact that I do not believe in infant baptism. Especially when they say it is not necessary to get re-baptized as an adult when one actually makes a profession of faith. To me, that is the exact time one needs to be baptized. I don’t even know what I am! I call myself a Puritan. When I studied the Masters Seminary history of the church, I identified most closely with the Puritans. Things just got worse and more split and divided after that point.

"What does it mean to be Reformed?" One may start at reading history, and understand that the "Reformed = Calvinist" is a false. Maybe study the poeple that Calvin looked up to. Also, to learn that Calvin forced Cessationism even down his own throat, after having experienced the opposite and agonizing for years over his own speaking in tongues.

The editing on the IFB screamer makes it funny, but if you strip it away and look then just at his teaching, it’s scary when you realize that his obstinacy is deceiving people. I don’t know whether or not he truly affirms the true Gospel, but many IFB/KJV-only type of preachers aren’t really Christians, but rather legalists in the same vain as Papists.

This is what denomination is: a separator! Jesus told the religious elite of His day that a house divided amongst itself will never stand. Then we have certainly proved Him truthful in that proclamation. For whether you consider yourself Southern Baptist, one of 33 distinct Baptist religious separations, or Presbyterian of which there are 27 separately governed organized religious entities, methodist ( 31 ), Pentecostal ( 64 ), Nazarene ( 17 ], Non denominational (# unknown ), for another is added almost daily. All the while there exists on our planet today, some 5 Billion souls to have never, ever, heard even one redemptive word of Christ Jesus. Every blood-bought, born-again, child of God is my brother or sister in Christ. Then those exist in many religions scattered throughout the world. Yet few consider themselves religion affiliated. However a true disciple of Christ Jesus is much more that. For they are a World-Visionary, World-Impacting, Reproducing, Learner-Follower of Christ alone, denying self and taking up their cross daily to be martyr witnesses of Christ both in their Jerusalem - Their Neighbor, and in all of their Judea - Their Near, and in their Samaria - Their Neglected, and to the uttermost - Their Next. ( Mattyew 28:18-20, Luke 9:23, Acts 1:8 ) Our command is still to: " make disciples of all nations " - ( matheteusate ta ethne in the original Greek text ), ( Matthew 28:18-20 ).You see obedience to this direct command of Christ answers the prayer to the Lord of the harvest to raise up workers for the fields ripe unto harvest. ( That 5 Billion afore mentioned ) ( Matthew 9:37-38 ) Then Christ prophesied this: " This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a witness to every nation and then the end will come. " Matthew 24:14. And Jesus said this: " If you love Me, you will obey My commandments. " John 14:15..... Well.... Do We? Follow Christ not religion! Know Christ and the Father in relationship not just know about them in religion. ( John 17:3 ) Be discipled, to become a disciple who makes still more disciples in Christ. ( 2 Timothy 2:1-2 ). Bless and strengthen all who will! No matter the denomination they may be evolved with.
