Everywhere these people live, it looks the same. Instead of getting upset with me, go ahead and tell me where the anomaly is. Because every city state country on earth that is majority "heavily tanned", looks the same. Always blaming the society they live among and refuse to accept any responsibility for the way their community is. Do I want it this way? Absolutely not. But it is what it is and the sooner we call it what it is the sooner there will be enough social pressure to hopefully begin the change that is needed. Right now its politically correct for us all to offer an excuse, but the fact is, there is no excuse.

And it is not political expedient to fix the world, a country, state, city or even communities from this issue. I’m not making any excuses for that at all. But what I am saying is one person can help one person and that can go on. Those who wants to be helped, will find a way. The problem is many people are making excuses and blaming everyone else and not trying to help themselves. And I’m saying that as someone whose grandmothers were illiterate and lived in the projects. It is my job now to help people with their finances because I feel, financial responsibility and management is a path out of poverty.

I grew up in the worst part of Corpus Christi TX. My Dad was a pastor but we were poor. All my friends were involved with gangs. I joined the Air Force at 18 and never looked back.

I grew up with some pretty bad individuals. I refused to get involved with it even if it did mean I would wind up in fights from being bullied. The first time I knocked someone out...they left me alone(i was a small guy.) Some of them are dead now, some are duggies, some are very successful. Everyone has a choice. You can always change. I left the toxic life I was in while I was in my mid 30s and wound up connecting with a friend of 25 years. I now call that woman my wife. I couldn't be happier.
