As soon as she said anydesk and target gift cards...I knew she had been gotten. They "Over-refunded" her...I feel like your channel and my knowledge of it now managed to save her bank account just in time. I'm lucky she reached to me first.

@@yrp237 It depends on the scam. If they get access to your bank then yes they can transfer money. If it's a refund scam, they alter the HTML code to make it look like they gave you too much money and ask you to go get gift cards usually and give them the codes on the gift cards.

@@yrp237 They will always check a bank account before doing a refund scam so they can see how much they can try to take from someone. That’s why they push for a computer, anydesk/ultraviewer, and a bank account. They’ll alter the HTML to make it seem like they sent too much but in reality they don’t send anything . Sometimes they’ll transfer between your accounts if you don’t have enough in your checking. For example; they’ll transfer from savings to checking, edit the HTML, trick you into thinking they overpaid you, then send you to get gift cards or wire transfer or whatever. Now you’re out x amount of money that was never transferred from them in the first place.

Imagine if it was the other way around and there was a whole industry of young Americans preying on Indian grandmas and leaving them destitute without consequence. It would be an international diplomatic incident. Our people are putting up with this kind of disrespect in part due to our corrupt, apathetic, and otherwise downright evil politicians. It is really frustrating, So I decided to type it into the KZbin search and low and behold many came up. I must have wasted a hour on the first 3 or 4 I found but, When I came across your channel I feel in Love with the way you smoothly pay them back.
