REFURBISHING MY GOLF CLUBS ON A BUDGET FROM HOME | PART 2

In todays video I am refurbishing my golf clubs on a budget from home! I am completing the refurbishment of the TITLEIST 690MB IRONS with a custom shop paint job!
During this video I'll be removing the old paint infill and replacing it with a new fresh look from G-PAINT GOLF CLUB PAINT!

Try nail polish remover on paint. I then used nail polish, fantastic range of colours. Then paint back in. Worked for me and very cheap.

@@garymartingolf hi. Think so, or try white spirit. Worth a go? You can really customize the infills. Cheap to. Good video tho. Will help 2nd hand market. I.e. people looking to move clubs on

Great refurb Gaz, but now you've removed the shaft bands, how will any potential buyer know what felt they are ?

You could replace (you can buy them off eBay) the shaft bands, but I’ve just cleaned the clubs up as though I was prepping for them to be my gamers. I wouldn’t want tatty shaft bands.

Word of advice, Gaz. After the soap and water bath, give them a clean with some isopropyl alcohol before painting the inflill.

What does that do?

@@garymartingolf It preps the surface to remove any oils or soap residue that is on the club. Makes the paint adhere better to the surface of the metal and prevents chipping and cracking in the future.

Gas, not to be a Health and Safety expert, but you should have used safety glasses when using the buffing machine, don’t want anything going into your or your subscribers eyes.

So what you doing Gaz? Oh just huffing the fumes from paint remover that eats nitrile gloves, nothing special.
