Refused wasn't ever trying to impress anyone. Almost 20 years later, they are still writing songs with balls, ripping guitar parts, groove, screaming vocals and insane drums. I for one think this is an epic song for an epic time for good music lovers. Finally, one of the greats are coming back. I will support the hell out of them so they stay for a long time.

.........I respect Dave and love nirvana, but that's about it. He has good taste in music no doubt and may be one of the hardest hitting drummers EVER. But for me the two big things that drew me to the band was their frenetic energy, and that lead singers maniac like screaming. (Similarly, that's the same thing that drew me to nirvana) "Nothing has changed...." Except his voice, and apparently they all could've used a red bull or two before they went out there. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who was perplexed by that, cheers

Also, "no it won't grow on you, get out." That comment goes against everything this band stands for. Or used to. Just saying. Punk rock doesn't deal in snide comments and absolutes. It's about expressing yourself. I bet that guy was equally disappointed but just can't admit it to himself. Poor bugger.

Patrick Chole I think it would have been better if they stopped after the reunion in 2012. The album is not even out yet we can't judge for now. The shape of punk to come released in 1998 it is totally normal to sound different!

Don't get me wrong, this is a good song. However, if this is the peak of the album, I'll be rather disappointed. I hope people aren't expecting another classic, because you probably won't get it. I'm just glad they're back together and rocking again. Hopefully they can just turn out something decent. Also, who knows… maybe with my expectations so low, they'll blow my fucking mind!
