And then that wicked one shall be revealed: whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: him Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power and signs and lying wonders: And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish: because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the truth but have consented to iniquity. In other words, a worker of perdition will succeed in deceiving many (and God will allow this), except for those that do hold onto the truth, and then the deceiver will be defeated by Jesus. Islam has a belief much like this in the dajjal who will be defeated by Jesus.

Minute 1:50 I don’t know who is this guy but surely he is a deceiver , what he did is he translated part of the sentence and not fully. He translated “matrook al Hadith “ as his Hadith is rejected which is correct translation, but he didn’t translate what written exactly after that , it’s mentioned “his hadith is rejected even though he is an Imam when it comes to recitation” . One famous scholar (ibn Baz may Allah have mercy upon him) when he heard about someone becoming misguided or apostating said that it was because they didn't thank Allah for guidance. May Allah make us from amongst those who thank Allah sincerely, ameen.

And he is in himself truthful. -End quote Ibn ʿAbd il-Hādī al-Ḥanbalī said in his aṣ-Ṣārim al-Munkī (1/63): وكان مشهوراً بمعرفة القراءة ونقلها، وأما الحديث فإنه لم يكن من أهله، ولا ممن يعتمد عليه في نقله، ولهذا جرحه الأئمة وضعفوه وتركوه ... And he was famous for his knowledge of the recitation [of the Qur‘ān] and transmitting it. And as for al-Ḥadīth, he was not from its people, nor was he depended upon in transmitting it.
