Super helpful video! We're deciding on the regal, cool to see it at night

Looking at buying a 2013 for $75k. Really excited, being 6'1" the regal seams much bigger then the SeaRay for the same price. Fingers crossed it works out

Hey Paul! I traded in a Beneteau pontoon boat, and negotiated keeping them as part of the deal :). Ok that's not true I just kept them. Truth be told - they're a bit of a nuisance. There's a wood runner behind the Lounge seats, I plan on affixing sole cup holders there (right in front of the port and starboard Windows)

Hi, Nice video and boat! What is the cabin height when you first walk down? You mentioned some generator issues, what were they?

Why do you think they didn't hook the tv audio through the stereo system? Can that be done? I just bought a 2016 and am wondering if it can done.

Curt Hook I think they could, but I do like that it's separate. Simple and 1 remote controls audio and video. Maybe I'm just making excuses :). I had the same thought though: One idea - is to have a Bluetooth device connected to the audio out of the TV? Then you could use the system bluetooth to pipe the sound in. One important point: if the TV is connected directly to the battery it will cut out. It needs a 12V regulator. Maybe they fixed that in 2016

run 8 auxiliary line from the TV to your fusion sound system all the wires will be behind the refrigerator you have to take the refrigerator out and then you can have sound coming out of your speakers and not your TV

Nice boat, where did you get the twin drinks holders from?

How many AC outlets are down stairs and where are they located?
@curtisjmwc7 жыл бұрын
Mike Britton there are 2 duplex outlets: one below the grill, facing the lounge on the starboard side, and another underneath the mirror in the bathroom facing down. I actually just noticed that 2nd outlet! Curiously, there are no USB outlets or DC outlets anywhere in the cabin. It might be worth installing one? There's only one D.C. outlet in the entire boat, at the helm

You can see 1 one the 2 duplex outlets briefly in this video at 2:54

Mike I'll look one more time - there might be one hiding but I haven't seen one yet. The one in the bathroom snuck up on me! We put the full canvas up this weekend, it's a nice setup. Drove it through the rain with no leaks

Do you still own this boat? Would you recommend it as and option when looking at sport yachts this size?
@curtisjmwc6 жыл бұрын
Jon G hey thanks for the reply. Is definitely recommend it! I had some issues to shake out when it was new, but by and large the major systems have been working great. The generator was wired incorrectly from the factory, and it took me a long time to figure that out (the genny shares the Hosie battery, and couldn’t handle any spikes on the line so it shut off constantly), the water pump for the generator would always lose its prime so we got a better pump, and recently a bolt sheerest off the generator, that held tension on a belt system for the water pump. It was fixed under warranty. The boat is a blast to be on though, people love it
