Wow! Thanks Richard, MK8R and MK7.5R both drive very differently. For sure from a modification point of view, the MK7.5R is a much better catered for platform. MK8R will soon come though!

Great video! I have a MK7 Golf R and a KZbin channel also around it. I've been noticing clutch slip on my stock R and this organic Sachs clutch seems like the right way to go. I will drop you guys a message for a quote and thank you for this video👍

brutal preparation! how do you make it finally last 630 nm. of torque, if the sachs performances only hold 530nm. ? It's not worth putting the Race that lasts up to 600nm. ? thanks for the great videos !!

Thank you! The Sachs Performance numbers are fairly conservative, to get the maximum longevity and torque capacity from a clutch the bedding in process is extremely important. Only once the customer bedded in the clutch did we then finally tune the vehicle.

Hey so I just got a manual 7.5 golf R manual and guess what the clutch just let go a little and needs to be done. I am scared of doing a stage 2 because people are saying it can creat baring failer and then crank walk. Is there a solution that can hold power and not stress the engine, with out me needing to tarring the engine out.

I’m having my Sachs clutch and Wavetrac diff installed on my MK7 R. I was quoted just under £2000 for the install. Is that a reasonable price? Seemed a bit steep to me considering I have all the parts.

Mmmm tough to say without knowing the ins and outs of the quote, labour rate, time, parts included, process etc etc. It's certainly not a cheap job.

Yes, this car is non-GPF however all of the upgrades apply. Even the turboback exhaust, we'd just need to install different ECU software to negate the GPF flagging as being removed.
