Metallica are a great band to see live. I’ve been fortunate to see them 10 times so far. They were the first band I ever saw live (in 1990)and although I’ve been to many, many more gigs that first one is still my favourite. Especially in their hay day they were known for their energetic gigs. Have a look at ‘live s*#t binge and purge Seattle 1989’ and you’ll get a representation of that era. Songs like battery, for whom the bell tolls, creeping death, the four horsemen etc. are great examples from there. I’ve never been a great fan of enter sandman but the crowd participation when this song comes on is special
