Hey friends, welcome to RegenerationNationTV!
We’re Mike & Jess, and we love diving into music, TV, and culture from all over the world. This is a space where we explore new experiences, share laughs, and connect with amazing people like YOU!
Bunking off school sounded like a great idea... until it all went horribly wrong! 🍻 Simon, Will, Jay, and Neil take a wild detour from responsibility, leading to drunken chaos, an epic romantic fail, and some serious consequences. That driveway confession? Yikes. We’re loving how The Inbetweeners captures teenage awkwardness in the most painfully hilarious way!

I've been waiting for the next inbetweeners reaction from you guys. This show is a perfect representation of life as an average teen growing up in Britain. Greg Davies was a teacher in the next school over to me in Slough before I moved and changed schools. But we love it so much because it really is like reliving our youth watching this show. Warts and all. 😂

I imagine it's already been mentioned, but just in case. That big intimidating teacher is a comedian named Greg Davies, and before he was a comedian he was an actual teacher. He's done some great stories on 'Would I Lie To You?' Well worth a watch when you can find the time... I think you still have a good few Bob Mortimer ones to experience as well.

Will you do something after the entire show has been released? There was an American remake. Same name and characters. But I’d really love to see how you think it compares to the original British version. Lots of people hate it. I’m actually didn’t mind it too much. But it’s clear they ruined it and the characters are tree terrible. Worth a watch though. I always love and enjoy watching people compare the two. I mean, you’d only need to watch the first episode and you’d make your own judgement straight away. Please 🙏🏻 ?

Someone who is gay but pretends not to be or just blokes joking with each other would say your in the closet. A closet means to me a wardrobe/cupboard, knocking up means building a closet/cupboard. Because they think he's gay and the man who turned up with him is for the joke a carpenter (someone who builds things with wood) it's a clever joke building a closet for Neil's dad to hide in (metaphorically) from pretending he's not gay.

I love how Jess reads the situation so well, relating to both sides, and picking up on the different characters & personalities. Like how Will is socially awkward and can't read the room. Jay's character evolves into being quite complex around the reasons that he is full of BS all the time, and I bet that Jess picks up on that too!

I was 18 when The Inbetweeners first televised and for me and my group of mates it was so relatable. I was always likened as Will and my best mate was Jay 😅.

Love how Carly gets Simon off the hook with both sets of friends after she hears Jay bad mouth him and she switches to saying it's cool.

You were right that Will is respectful to the parents. That’s part of his OTT reaction to Simon’s mum - he couldn’t quite believe he had lied to a parent. And also why he was so easy to goad with Neil’s dad He is pretty easy to manipulate peer pressure

Buying booze is much more lenient in the UK than America, you can find a corner shop like in this scene and you’d get served no problem without ID 😅
