Prince Far I aka The Voice of Thunder was one of the most enigmatic and unforgettable artistes of the golden age of reggae. He seemed set to dominate the reggae scene in the 1980s but was murdered in circumstances that just recently came to light forty years after his untimely death

First of all, thank you for bringing one of my favorite artistes of all time to the table. It's so sad to hear, Junju Lawes, a producer known for his fair treatment of the ones who worked for him and whom i admire also very much, got apperently caught up in this violence bullshit, causing the demize of Prince Far I and himself at the end of the day. I could nearly cry as much as cry cry himself, thinking about that.

Junjo was a gunman for the JLP not PNP and i strongly believe he is responsible for Far I’s death as many others around Junjo wierdly met the same fate. Very strange, ive been listening to Far I heavily for about a week and a half and really enjoying his work and feeling a heavy vibration and connection to it and now you upload this. At the Cross Tribute to Bob Marley The Vision Everytime I Talk About Jah are very heavy tunes. Give Thanks and Praises to Prince Far I The Voice of Thunder RastaFari

Umokonto we Sizwe (Spear of the Nation) has to be his most prolific, final, and prophetic work. In the song "Jerry Doghead," he says, "...they gave him 3 shots pon him belly.
