I found this show a week ago and have watched all the episodes so far. I’m white, married, 30yo straight male, loving these segments and the show in general. Arlette is real. And she listens to everyone equally and removes judgement, or bias. She’s got the realest relationship based interview show I’ve ever seen. She’s not programming who she invites on. Fake people, and real people are going to come on the show alike, just like in real life it’s a mix. The show also sheds light on the misdirection of desire, and that judgment poor at times, and is seen as an imminent threat. Defensive people, gloating people, timid, meek, toxic, selfish, loving, joyous, chipper, solemn, bleek, angry, self obsessed, gentle, charming, observant, quiet, loud, disrespectful, pleasant, condescending, passive-aggressive, reasonable, it’s all there, and Arlette listens and her reactions are genuine and funny. People share who they are, what they’re looking for, and what they need in a partner, and challenge each other by asking them to answer deep and personal questions. It’s beautiful. This show is groundbreaking.

I agree with everything you said. a lot of us has been here from the beginning and you can see the growth in the show and the way the contestants behave on the show. One of the biggest take away from last season was that a lot of the matches wasn’t going on dates and was just there for promotional content. The fans voice their opinions and I believe the show may have made some changes. Anywho, welcome and enjoy reading the comments. They are just as good as the show😅
@swiftrover6 ай бұрын
@@FreedomNurse yes, believe I heard Arlette say in a recent recap that if you match you now must go on a date. I’m not sure if there are contracts involved, or how that’d be enforced, but it makes sense. I know contestant Eric, was mad that he did not get a date with his match. Some felt for him, but he was also lambasted, for picking her based on superficial reasoning, i.e. getting exactly what he chose, or deserved in essence.

She has not rebutted the fact he did apply what he was advised to do, all she was focused on was the argument about the dancer. You're the expert. You have cracked the code to a lasting relationship. There are thousands, probably millions, of stories where people got married after two or three months, which lasted a lifetime. Have you never heard of those stories? There are millions of stories of people getting married after two or years and then flaming out after a few years, even less. In reality, you haven't built anything because you're not even married yet. Your marriage will show itself successful when one of you is in the ground (death do us part), not because you put the other there either. You have investigated every marriage and have "Conclusive Evidence" that it failed because it wasn't done Your Way. Several factors can have a greater impact on the success of the marriage than how long you waited. If not, those who waited several years would Never Fail.

She claims to not be triggered, but she was obviously bothered by the topic of her confidence and her financial circumstances enough to drag him through the mud and expose intimate conversations that they had, that should never have been our business. So what if he wanted a threesome? So what if he wanted to have a baby with you at a specific timeframe? So what if he said that you typically were not his initial type? I don’t think that makes him a bad person. She claims to not be triggered, but everything she said says otherwise. She kept firing shots that had no rhyme or reason, but to (unsuccessfully) expose him. It was very disappointing to hear how low she got with some of the things that she said about him, and it says a lot about her character. I pray she addresses her pain one day and thoroughly heals.

@@Itgirlriixxii That is one issue I have with Arlette. Sometimes she lets people go on way too long. Dr. Elom came on during the Reggie/Nova episode. and he was driving me crazy. I literally had to fast-forward some of his segment because he went on and on so long, and Arlette was loving it. One contestant correctly stated that Dr Elom was acting just to go viral, and Arlette nodded in agreement. Well then why did Arlette allow him to continue so long if she knew he was just performing to gain followers? She finally did cut him off after one point, but by then the damage was done, and I was yelling at the monitor for him to shut the hell up. I guess it's possible that maybe Arlette has a crush on the 'dentist' herself, but she needs to focus on keeping her show moving along with quality segments.

All I heard was that her pimp died, she started dancing, and got introduced to OnlyFans. When she told him, he was like, "What the heck? I thought you were a gamer." Then he started asking if she was giving it up in the champagne room. She said, "No, I only stripped. Don’t believe the stereotypes." She probably shared some wild stories, and he was like, "No way, you couldn’t have been giving it up." He talked to his friends and got some counseling, but they were convinced she was giving it up, and he couldn't get over it. 😂😂

This was a good teaching and learning experience. When people get into relationships with someone who's stuck in their ways that has become hardened from being single or long term unhealthy prior relationships, makes it very difficult to build new ones. You just can't have it 100% your way. You really have to give a little. Relationship counseling is very much needed.There is a lot to learn from this one.

This was a lot to unpack for such a short relationship. I cannot speak for these two but in my own personal journey, I’ve noticed that when dating a man who really wants to find love, they often do so without meeting in the middle. Always rushing the process and not letting things progress naturally. I applaud some of his traits. The patience in letting her speak and the thoughtfulness. However, I just think time should be taken to get to know a person before pushing them to make life decisions (ex, birth control, moving, dare I say threesomes). As for her, context is very important and there will always be three sides of a story and sometimes trauma does exist even on a years long healing journey. I wish them both luck.

You saying he rushing the process is bull jive. If they verbalized what they are looking for and spent all of that time together doing everything together, how slow can u go after starting fast like that?
