Guys guys guys... if you are thinking what ABS could do with her --- wait and see. Even when she was with GMA, when Regine approaches ABS to do a show, it will be the grandest. She approached them in the early 2000s and they produced her a concert which is out of this world. Remember when you reacted to her singing Papa Can You Hear Me / PIece of Sky in a concert with a big R outside the big national museum? They put a 75 piece orchestra plus 150 people on choir.. ABS produced it. For decades, ABS had been pursuing her to transfer and they always do their best to give justice to her stardom. Just yesterday, October 17 2018, Regine just signed a contract with ABS after so many years and it wasn't an ordinary contract signing day. It was the first time everybody in ABS celebrated a transferring artist, and it was a grand welcoming during her arrival.

Regine really did transer, she will be one of the judges in up coming The Voice Philippines and she will also act again in a drama or movie. GMA isn’t much into music nowadays so it’s a given that most of the Filipino singers are with ABS-CBN. They still have Julie Anne San Jose, Christian Bautista and Mark Bautista but like what I said, almost all the singers are with ABS-CBN. GMA’s forte is news and documentaries and they’re really good at them.

ABS-CBN is really the biggest television and media company in the Philippines with GMA as the second in terms of number of employees and maybe in other factors. I am just glad that GMA kinds of compete with ABS-CBN to give ABS a challenge to improve, develop, and innovate their programs and delivery of entertainment, news, television series, game shows, etc. AMong all of the other known TV networks in the Philippines, it is just GMA that really battles with ABS-CBN even they are not that big as ABS. GMA, even though is not s big and full as a network, is still providing good quality shows, news, entertainment, and television series, and I can't lie about that. GMA can really boast their magazine show, news and current affairs, and in making social documents, and doing creative, controversial, social-based, and risky television series especially those that tackles Philippine history, mental health, poverty, crime, LGBTQ+ rights, and women empowerment, like those shows they had about gays, lesbians, transgenders, people suffering mental disorders, and issues such as adultery, broken families, etc. The context really, is they are always trying to beat each other, to compete, to develop, to improve, to innovate, and that's what I like about these two networks. I can't really say that one is better than the other, for each of them have their own strengths and weaknesses as a TV and media broadcasting network. :)

Regine officially transferred to ABS-CBN. On the other hand, GMA still have some singers such as Julie San Jose, Christian Bautista, Maricris Garcia, Aicelle Santos, Mark Bautista, and the finalists of THE CLASH where Regine was a host. GMA is also having actors and actresses who can also sing and do recordings but are not professional singers per se. For me, ABS-CBN deserves Regine and all other entertainers, singers, dancers, etc. because ABS-CBN is more of an entertainment channel and is really great in all of these concert shows, entertainment, dancing, and singing programs. GMA on the other hand is so great when it comes to their news and current affairs, especially in their internationally renowned and well-respected reporters, broadcasters, and documentarists who do documentaries and magazine shows so well. ABS is the best singing channel and GMA is the best documentary channel in my opinion. Those were just my opinion btw. GMA is still really trying, I guess, to search for new singers, and maintain the remaining singers to remain in their network. I don't know what the future holds for these two networks. Though both of these networks are still trying to balance their artists and programs to deliver entertainment, comedy shows, variety shows, sitcoms, drama and soap operas, telenovelas (Filipino television series), Asianovelas (Asian television series), game shows, and news programs, etc. I just hope the best for Regine, to ABS-CBN, and to GMA.
