Hmm you’re just HATING!... and I’m KIDDING lol. Love ya guys but I gotta warn you about Jaya though. Jaya has a beautiful voice, her recordings were best sellers (I’m a fan of her 90s songs) but her live singing specially in the past are really all over the place and full of unimpressive/unruly ad libs. Better stick to her current performances if you want to do more of her stuff. Love her though.

Wala na bang Pag-ibig is one of my favorite songs of Jaya. Jaya is a dramatic voice so she struggles with runs and adlibs as you said which is true for most "big voices" or heavy type voices like dramatic/contralto like Jaya that does not have much "agility" contrary to light type voices like regine mc jessie j etc.

Jaya has a dramatic voice, a very big voice and I must say the quality of the video does not give her justice bec. her voice is rich and sweet like molasses if ears can taste. Jaya was dubbed as the Queen of soul here in the Philippines. IMO dramatic voices like her's does not have "agility" like executing quick/fast runs or adlibs so that's why sometimes she misses the mark BUT THAT 6:39-6:40 A5/Bb5 note is no JOKE and IMPRESSIVE!!

Yes, M-Angel, Jaya has Jamaican Descent. And yes, She's one of the judges in Tawag Ng Tanghalan (TNT). I got what Ovela is saying. Just like what ppl here said, that's Jaya's own style. but sometimes, she just go a little out of place when she change it and make it her own style. She had good moments in this song though, especially the high notes towards the end, but she didn't do that here coz they skipped to another song.

M-Angel is a hard critic, but when Ovela is begrudgingly impressed on the performance, you know it's a not enough performance - regardless of the audio quality. This happened sometime in 2008, where ABS-CBN attempted to bribe Regine to be in their network and she is close to leaving the show and GMA, thus the "We need you so, so don't you ever go" line came out of Jaya's mouth. You actually saw JAYA as a judge because he is a judge in Tawag ng Tanghalan. Jaya CAN be off the pitch when she sings on the lower range but she is already an icon in the Philippines. Regine, Jaya, and Lani are really good friends and they have always been supportive of each other through the years.
