In India Too , On Table, Small Wooden elavated Platform or Cloth How do u check Freshness Of A Fish?? We check it by Pressing our fingers on fish, If the fish skin reverts back fast after the press, it's fresh, if ut takes a lot of time to return to its shape, or remains pressed even after u remove ur finger from it ,it is stale. How is Fish fresh or not checked in Ur country btw???
