Is the pervert on parole? If so does this violate his parole so he gets prison time?
@Carbon_One5 ай бұрын
So this will violate his parole (if he is on it) but it'll likely take time, so you can expect that he bonds on his charge, is free for a little bit and likely the office of probation and parole will drop a warrant with no bond for him, and they'll have to go re-arrest him (I bet he'll turn himself in right? Or not run from the Officers who try to arrest him). As Officers/Deputies/Troopers (at least in my state, I think most are the same) we can't do anything about someone violating their parole ourselves. So once the warrant drops he'll get a no bond and arrested (again how my state works and I assume others) and he'll have to answer the Officer of P&P. We used to let them sit in jail until probation and parole decided if they wanted to send them back to prison or drop the warrant, usually they would drop the warrant and be released, not always. We've switched it up though. Anymore if you come in with a parole violation, into our jail with no other state or local charges, it means that essentially your warrants are issued by the state prison system, so when they come in with a parole violation we don't house them any longer than we need to, we put them on the next bus to the prison diagnotic center that intakes prisoners and the prisons can house them and hold them until they decide if they want to re-issue the parole or not. Him being on parole (different if it was probation) means he was already convicted of prison time and released early to be supervised for his actions. And honestly I wouldn't be surprised at all if they didn't violate him at all for this, sometimes they just don't and it leaves us as Deputies all wondering, but likely the felony and severity of this will lead him back to prison, probably only for a short period before he's reissued parole. Hope that helps. Again that's just if he's on parole, if he's on probation it's a different story. I can explain how that works if you're interested.
@wykydone5645 ай бұрын
Looking at him on the Crawford county sheriffs website, if I'm interpreting it correctly, looks like he's going to spend a whole 6 months in prison for parole violations. Seems they dropped most of the tickets, has $75k bond for driving while revoked
@isaac1984285 ай бұрын
Since he also had warrants, he will be automatically held without any bond. Those are separate cases from this pursuit so he’s looking at lots of time already if convicted. Felony fleeing alone carries a maximum sentence of 6 yrs and 10k fine in Arkansas.

05:02 - That is how Florida drivers act even with police/fire/ems. Lights/Sirens on and they will camp in the left lane and make no effort to move. Why I wish sometimes we could do a "Citizens TVI" like we could with a citizens arrest. 🤣 Best part was after going through all that, getting TVI'd and arrested whats his first question??? "What'd I do wrong sir?" Everything. Quite literally ... everything. And saying "He was looking at his GPS trying to get to a job". Basically meaning he was trying to meet an underage child to do god knows what to them. Just lock this monster up. He doesn't need to see the light of day anymore.

Exactly, going over 15 mph over the speed limit, reckless driving, improper lane use ???? And why was he driving so fast and recklessly if he didn't see/hear the lights and sirens ????

Here in Seattle it is the car of choice to drive through the front doors of a cannabis store to make a late night grab of weed and then get away in a different stolen vehicle. Seattle should just outlaw Kias in city limits.

ASP don't play around. They're willing to be aggressive. They're willing to PIT at really high speads. In the videos which I have seen, they don't spend hours following suspects around, hoping & waiting for them to give up and pull over, or run out of gas. That's the cop culture in Southern California. I'm not even juggling these different police forces. Their decisions can make life & death differences.

You know, I'll never understand what's so darned difficult about appending the Trooper's Incident Report. I was born and raised in Arkansas, and graduated from high school in Crawford County. I want to know where these incidents are happening. My parents lived and died in Crawford County. I love Arkansas, the mountains and the people are absolutely wonderful people, mostly. Okay, so this guy behaved like a scumbag, but my concern is for the good citizens of Arkansas, not for the bad guys!
