[REGRET] - an introspective look at Tombi! (Act 0 - There's actually no Tombi!2 in this video)

This is my guide/walkthrough/let’s play/retrospective/review of Tombi!2 (also known as “Tomba!2”) for the original Sony PlayStation. …and in this part there’s no Tombi!2. It’s more about my first steps with the PlayStation, unhealthy love for the demo discs and experiencing the predecessor to Tombi!2 to its fullest. This part was supposed to be around 40 minutes long and contain only cliffnotes about the first Tombi!, but… it quickly spiraled out of control, because I just hate myself, I guess (I wanted the whole [REGRET] to be a “relaxing” project and around 2,5 hours… so yeah). BUT! There is a reason why I decided to walk you through the entire game. Just you wait.
…I think it is more polished than the [NOSTALGIA]? …definitely not as complex, but I was more… watchful of sound issues and graphical glitches. Is writing good? Meh, probably not? I hope you’ll enjoy it though.
Don’t worry. Tombi!2 is about the same length as Tombi!1, so the remaining part of [REGRET] (which I want to split into further 3 acts) should be about 3 hours. Maybe I’ll manage to finish it by the July - famous last words, don’t quote me on that.
As always - major CRINGE and power-level warning.
I had fun with it, though. And I’m really proud of some parts of this video.

Yup. It's very beloved in Poland too. Personally, it's my favorite de Funès movie. It's both funny and awfully touching at the same time. I expected a RIDICULOUS plot and hijinx and got life changing experience instead.

Love so much, a bit correction: while fighting the last evil pig you can use Baron and complete what you missed :D (in T2 you can't, but in T1 yes)

Once I've read your comment I was like "no, it can't be true", so I checked it out and... well, you know the end result. The funniest thing is that I've tried so much obscure things in this game (and its sequel) to uncover potentially "weird" responses and yet... I've NEVER tried to get out of Evil Pig fights using items (Baron, Charity Wings, Bells). They work on every fight in 1 (thus DESTROYING my "point of no return" claim) and every regular fight in 2. Really interesting, thanks for commenting! I'll adress when I'll talk about Evil Pigs in Tombi! 2. Of course you'll be credited for sharing this arcane knowledge. Thanks for watching and commenting!
