What a beautiful podcast, flowing with emotion and learning. Shows how wonderfully supportive our ecosystem is becoming thanks to mentors like Toshan and disciples like Shantanu. And absolutely love how Shantanu is becoming the mentor in S2 to foster a new set of excellent entrepreneurs. Please keep this going, its motivation being served in the purest form!

Excellent 1 hour of content. I would though, beg to differ on the chess vs badminton analogy. As opposed to thinking that a shot in badminton closes the point while you think 10 moves ahead in chess, since I'm a badminton player and a seasoned chess player, I tend to think of Badminton as chess at 100x speed. A single point in badminton can be as mentally draining and challenging as a whole game of chess and more (this apart from the obvious gap between the physical effort). Moreover, real world scenarios need you to improvise, adapt and overcome taking not just the cues from your "opponents" next moves or outcomes but also from evident anticipated indications which are definitely more pronounced in badminton rather than chess! All in all, life resembles more of a badminton match than a game of chess, if anything

Hi , I really like the show. However the fact that so many of your guests come from McKinsey , makes me feel as if I am missing out on something even though I don't wish to do consulting. (Of course not sure if I have the calibre to crack it)

@@rl1900 Hey RL thanks for commenting. What you are telling I already know that it's just that when I listen to these people who shantanu brings I'm mesmerised by the insights these people bring so I commented bcz I wanted shantanu to talk to other people from other areas of life to bring more insights and different ones to the table

It is depressing to hear stories of McKinsey guys. Retiring at 40, don’t have to worry about liquidity etc are such alien terms. Cannot relate with them at all.

Not that great. 1st miss of your new innings. Seemed far more elitist than your previous interactions. Relatability quotient was low. Focus on profile and EXPERIENCE of your guests. Will automatically make the conversations more interesting
