@prismaticpaul4 жыл бұрын
I would say the same. If only I was interested in socializing during highschool, I think I would've had an easier time asking girls out now at university. I'm not asocial, I have good friends, people both from highschool and university, I'm just afraid to approach girls I like because I can't think of how to start a conversation without making a complete fool out of myself. I'm also sure that university gave me an inferiority complex after I failed first year once... due to, you guessed it, not studying enough! I'm third year now, I'm doing ok, but for some reason I still can't shake off the thought of me being a "very below average student". That's not to say I won't keep trying and improving. I guess I just need some help, a push in the right direction. I know it's possible, because I made it this far, and for once in my life, I haven't given up despite the hardships. I almost dropped out at one point but I decided to see this through the end. Life sure does feel like a set of random numbers sometimes, but that's just how it is. I wish you the best in life.

@@glaucovillasboas8212 Really? I see it literally everywhere! That doesn't mean they don't love their kids, altho sometimes they don't bond with them. But they hate being a parent and parenthood and feel trapped. They no longer have the freedom they once did and if they could do it over they would choose never to have kids. This is why I'm not having any. There are so many worn out tired angry cranky parents walking around as empty hollow shells. They have given up on all their dreams and hobbies because having kids its apparently just what you do.
@glaucovillasboas82124 жыл бұрын
@@HikaruYamamoto What I hear from my friends that are parents is the totally opposite, even from people who had to stop studying because of their kid, they say it worth it. Also I don't think you must give up on your dreams because you have a child, you can still study or work, principally now with covid when people learned how to study/work at home. At least for me it isn't a big of a deal, I'm 23 years old and if I had a child now, I don't think would give up on any of my dreams, I can still work, study, be entertained and whatnot, I sincerely don't know anyone who openly regrets or seems to regret having kids. Perhaps it might be related to the country we live, I live in Brazil. Perhaps in America it's different. Here for example it's totally normal to people until 30 or more to live with their parents (even if they work or study) and people are very attached to their family, the only time when it's common to move is when they marry, even though I have some married friends that lives with one of their parents (principally when they are old and needs more attention)
