Regular Maniacs Race Romaniacs - Yamaha T7

Andy (from Heavy Enduro) and I wanted to do something adventurous, so we've entered the 2024 Red Bull Romaniacs race... on our Yamaha T7s. Dumb? For sure. A crazy adventure? Without a doubt.
We'll prepping to race Iron class in July... it will be ridiculous.

Wow, Race Romaniacs is quite a challenge. I don't drive my T7 as skillfully as you but I'm taking on the challenge of losing my 30 extra pounds to be in better shape so I can improve my driving of my T7 next spring. I will be sure to follow your adventure. Good luck.

Yeah, it's a big challenge for sure. Prepping will almost be a full-time job but I'm enjoying it so far.

I think you should be the first to add front wheel drive to the T7 given what you are up against!

If only here were a way! Craig from CJ Designs did a kit for a KTM 950ADV; not sure how that worked out though!

50lbs in 9 months is totally doable without anything crazy. People can safely lose 2lbs a week, I have 38 weeks until the race. I've done 35lbs in 7 weeks in the past so I'm not too concerned.
