Dear Tamir, I have innova 2008, 42tk on the clock, everything running perfect... Just have a question, maybe 2 weeks ago after engaging 3rd and 4th gear didnt lights indicators of the gear on the clock, and starts lighthig after 5-10 min of driving... @@PavolJanosik-k4m Hi sir. A malfunction of the kind: Light that turns on and off? It already happened to me with the cbr250r and the problem was a loose contact in one of the connectors. So i cleaning the connector with wd40 and air pressure spray to solved that problem. In your case, because the fault appeared while changing gears, the immediate suspicion falls on the gears sensor. You can try to clean it, or replace it with a new one.

Thank you! Does the regulator-rectifier run all the lights? I have LED headlights on my Wave 110 and they flicker on and off at idle speed. Do they flicker because the headlights get power directly from the alternator, and not from the regulator-rectifier?

Hi. In my INNOVA the lighting is powered by a stabilized voltage(regulator) up to 15.5 volts, but not DC. The lighting works on AC voltage. The rectifier made AC to DC For example: The computer is running on DC. LED lighting works on DC voltage, I do not know just guessing, that the rectifier sent a rectifier voltage to an upper waveform, which creates the fluctuation in the lighting intensity, and this is especially noticeable at low rpm. AC: +12v...0v....-12v...0v....+12v....0v...-12v DC: +12v...0...+12v...0v...+12v...0v

I'm a little confused: I thought the regulator-rectifier was one single unit that always outputs stabilized DC voltage (regulated AND rectified at the same time)? How can it also output stabilized AC voltage to the lights (regulated but NOT rectified)? Or is there a second regulator in the Wave / Innova that only regulates the voltage, but doesn't rectify it?

This does not seem like a problem in the regulator. On the other hand, such a question cannot be answered online. Problems that come and go, are complicated to detect even when you approaching a qualified mechanic. Please try to consult a local mechanic, who will see and check your claims.

I need your help : my Scooter battery reads many numbers in a second and never stops at one number it reads 9v/10v /16v/ 13v all these crazy reads happens in less han one second and never stops ... so I thought it would be the regulator and I bought a new regulator the same shape I have , but it did not work , it explodes the Fuse and make wires gets hot if I tough the battery charger cable to the batery, then I had to reinstall the Old Regulator and it works and charge well but multi reading per second , the same reading with a new battery .. what do you think ? CDI box or Regulator ??? I have measured all the other electronic parts and they all works well

In the event of a short circuit, or any other electrical malfunction, the electric parts should be checked in a certain order and check that each of the parts are in good condition. There are many places where the malfunction can occur, and there are only a few causes for electrical malfunction. The leading cause being short between wires, or electrical parts malfunction. I can't answer your question in the online question-and-answer format, please go to the motorcycles electrician and don't deal with it alone because of the danger of a fire and even an explosion.

Check wire connections at plug where wire come from engine case . Invest in diaelectric grease and use it on all plug connections also check for loose wires there

@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling Unfortunately I am an electrician for small CC engines 50cc to 150cc : the problem is with the magnetic wheel which effects the field of the battery : even when I get my voltmeter close to it without testing any electric part it rants with reading , but what confused me is that it should not be normal thing to happen , I have been testing many scooters batteries in the same position , but they do not rant like this scooter battery

If this is sometimes workd correctly, it is possible that one of the connectors is loose. Try going through all the connectors and see that they are connected properly. I do not guarantee it will work, but it's one of the easiest things to do. Then it keep getting complicated. You need to follow the electrical diagram and see what else may be wrong with components that do not work for you.

Hi, I'm not sure I understood what the problem is. If the high-light is working properly, the chances are that the low-light is defective. And maybe there is a problem with the low-light contacts? In my opinion it will NOT fit. Check the electrical scheme. The Honda Innova has only one phase, and the connector is wired differently.
