I love stepping up and down. First I started with holding onto a heavy chair, and now I can step up and down without holding onto anything. Repetition is the key. I do this activity at least 50 times every day , and keep telling myself : " I am building those neuro pathways". Now curbs will not be a challenge anymore. 😀 Thank you so much for this video just as much as for all the other great videos.♥️

🌸💜🌸 Dear Dr. Tara, thank you very much for your super videos, which really shot me back to normal life. Now 3 years post stroke, the left leg is still giving me a funny walk and the left arm/hand is still only half working. It will never be the same as before, but I'm using every possibility for a nice stretch or reach. But with the help of you and my PT I am not any more constantly feeling handicapped or not able to live a normal life, but I now rather concentrate on my new online business, new friendships and new ways of activity. So, I am saying goodbye to the constant rehab life and hello to the new super charged life in a different but very fun and proud way. Thank you for everything Dr. Tara!Stay safe and say hello to Chico, Love, Nina 🌸💜🌸💜🌸💜🌸

I've watched a few videos and the exercises look helpful for leg spasticity, which I have after having a stroke 5 months ago. My problem is that I don't have trouble bending my knee, infact when my leg spasms , my big toe dorsiflexes and my knee will bring itself up touch my chest. It stays in that position until the spasm releases the quadricep muscle and allows me to force the leg to straighten out. These spasms happen without warning and mostly when I'm laying down and at night when trying to sleep. Also when walking I tend to circumduct my leg and lock my knee whenever my leg is fatigued. Is there any exercises that could help me with this problem?
