I love squirrels like you love Spiders/tarantulas. It's always so cool when we get to see just regular spiders. We don't get to see much of that. And that's really cool for me!

I know you said the pseudhapalopus just look like any other tarantula sling but I love that they already have the dark circle on their butt that'll turn blue when they're older! It does make me wonder why they grow up to have a bright blue butt, though😅

Have you tried Flex Seal for the leak? If it can stop resin from leaking out of a mold, it should be able to stop that little trickle.

I love the rehousing videos but where is the rest of the video?? I love this channel so we need longer videos, it was too short! Beautiful little guys and girls being put into larger enclosures, I am picking up my jumping spider at the weekend and I wanted to buy an enclosure from the dark den but I will have to buy the enclosure from somewhere else for now! ❤

Hey Petko you should add some drainage holes on the bottom for the next version of your enclosures, roughly about the same size as the vent holes on the sides.
@TheDarkDen9 ай бұрын
That would make the enclosures leak when you water them!
@ArcaneBuddhist9 ай бұрын
@@TheDarkDen not if you only put a couple plus then it also allows for the medium to breathe preventing mold issues. The whole point is for it to prevent over watering issues, mold and fungus issues. I’ve done a similar situation with a Rollie Pollie enclosure I made out of a plastic bin and since just point roughly 5 holes (one near every corner and one in the middle) I’ve never had any of the issues I’ve listed. You could also plug up the holes when done using as well if you need to keep higher humidity in that specific enclosure and if designed correctly they could even act as small rubber feet when plugged up. I brought this up only cause you’ve stated a couple times that you by accident over watered or had mold/fungus issues and this is just a simple way to prevent all those issues. It’s just an idea to help out and I wouldn’t have suggested it if I personally haven’t tested it myself to see the results I’ve now had the Rollie Pollies for well over 10 years now with zero issues. Also if you seriously think those holes are to big for drainage you can make them smaller, I’m in the USA so the best I can tell on the vent hole sizes are what I can see from your videos. Not saying you have to or anything but maybe it’s an idea to try for at least one of your small acrylic enclosures for the future cause hey how can can we prove or disprove the idea without trying it at least and worse case scenario the holes could easy be filled with small plugs like I said earlier so the enclosure doesn’t go to waste either. You’ve tested different versions of the enclosures already so what’s the harm or trying a test to see if it works for you like it did me. Oh also more expensive but I think you’d like this company called Eguma which makes nice advanced enclosures, I won’t go into detail but it even has built in multiple spectrum lights, full internal fan system to bring in fresh air and expel old air and even the bottom can be heated up by dial to maintain a consistent level of warmth. Either way whether you try it or not thank you for listening and replying and truly sorry for the long reply, I hope you and your family have an amazing upcoming month Petko.

I never understood the difference between spiders and the ones that are called true spiders? Can someone explain it in a very simple way? A spiders that live in your home naturally, those tiny little things, true spiders and the really big ones are... tarantulas? I really don't understand.
@Mad_Computer_Scientist9 ай бұрын
Clint Reptiles Channel has some videos explaining that. I think the difference was explained in this one -> kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmO4i3esqs-tp9k He also got a video about arachnids in general, if you want to learn more.
