For all of the people saying that Grom Hellscream shouldn't have ran and that went against everything he is. No Grom was a brilliant tactician and yes will never stop fighting. But he would back out to fight another day. For Grom Hellscream to actually yell Lok'tar Ogar he would be willing to fight to the death if there was no other way for his people to win. Kilrogg may have been known for his strategic thinking in the Warcraft. Grom was known for his battle prowess and tactfulness.

The only question I have is as to why Grom is here in the first place? Did I miss anything when playing Warcraft 3?

This is playing out the orc and human campaigns at the same time. Grom is captured by humans and the first time you see him is when you save him from a prisoner camp. This ties it into the human story and shows how he got captured in the first place, something WC3 never showed. It's some nice additions to make the story flow better.

Platypys While yes that might be, Grom wanting to summon demons is kind of not a thing that would happen. As such him being there as part of the Orc forces does not make sense and does NOT tie in nicely with the storylines.

That's not Garithos. It's Falric, the captain who acted as Arthas' second in command through Warcraft 3 human campaign. He was also the first to be raised as a death knight by Arthas (which I guess technically makes him Scourge's second death knight) and was a boss in Halls of Reflection.

While I'm not sure I like the implication that Grom, and therefore Thrall's Horde, had anything to do with the demon worship and human sacrifices, I love the idea of Arthas and Uther being the ones who captured Grom. The action is absolutely superb, beautifully choreographed, directed, and animated. The camera work here is some of the best I've seen in animated shorts on KZbin. The music and sound effects are spot on, everything is so perfectly timed. I cannot overstate how much of an absolute masterpiece this is.

An absolute masterpiece, yes indeed! I like how you appreciate Uther and Arthas' job here taking Grom prisoner, I liked that a lot as well! And, it sort of makes sense for him to be there... In the previous video, Go'El asks: "dammit Grom, where the hell are you?" So he doesn't know where he is... He is there behind Thrall's back, so it makes it more logical... Also, he always had a taste for demonic corruption and blood... Ask Cenarius if needed. :( :@

Its in the lore, that's how Grom was captured by the alliance (he was looking for supply from blackrock tribe if i remember correctly) on the orcs first mission you had to rescue him in W3 to setle for Kalimdor

But Grom wasn't a member of the Blackrock clan so he had no reason to be there worshipping demons. He was in charge of the warsong clan and the warsong clan didn't play any part in this event as they were on a ship to Kalimdor at the time.

Now, if he were a prisoner that was to fight the humans because he just happened to have been there, that would have been different, but as it stands, it's just strange.

I really like it - the animation, use of voices, but i'm not quite comfortable with Arthas flying and Grom escaping from the battlefield. Although... no one from Warsong clan was alive to see it. Then again, was it Warsong, or Grom was guest of Blackrock clan? Keep up the good work! :D

Arthas and Uther were fighting the Blackrock clan. A clan that didn't follow Thrall's vision of the Horde freeing itself of the demon's influence. Grom and his Warsong clan (who followed Thrall) were likely imprisoned by remnants of Blackmoore's forces.

The mystery of how Thunder fell into captivity to people is covered in darkness. His capture by Arthas and Uther is very well done. And does not contradict lore, so again it is unknown who and when he was captured)
