If this had been the entire campaign and it took 15 hours to watch I would have been here all night. I love the minor changes to add depth and character to the story as many others have pointed out. I was 11 when this game came out. The first game I played after Starcraft (I was 7 when that came out). I spent hundred if not thousands of hours moving characters around in multiplayer after beating an AI imagining the story played out like this, I did all the voices, I had betrayals, I had losses and victories. This...I can't express my gratitude in words. Warcraft was an escape for me, I learned early on that life wasn't like my fantasy novels, I couldn't use magic, and I wasn't strong, but even at 12 I had the heart of a hero. I'm 26 now; and on a random Friday night at the end of 2018 I was reminded of what it was like to first behold this amazing story. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. If you ever need voice talent, or a production assistant to help with workload, organization, shot by shot list, anything, please feel free to reach out. You have an incredible eye (loved your master shots and I'm sure animation wise they were very time consuming to put together) and I would love to work with you if you'd have me, and if not, that's ok too. I absolutely love your intepretation of the story and events. Really clever to expand Groms lore arc to give his character more significance in the events unfolding and intergrating characters to flesh out their persoanlity and developement. I cant wait to see how Grom will later question thralls leadership infront of his men and second guessing Thralls decisions, only to lead his own clan to their doom in the hands of the legion. And how Arthas will finally betray and murder that devoted captain (which you cleverly added) during his madness wandering the icy wastes of Northrend after slaying Mal'Ganis. Everything you have done thus far has been close to perfection. Dont let anyone tell you how to make this because you definetly got the right idea going inside of your head, addng neat little details into every scene. I love the attention to details in this. The captain character has a handgun and faces an orcish commander in distinguished armour in combat. Grom partaking in shady warlock business that Thrall is not aware of - not only it totally makes sense in the context of the story but it gives the two characters a little bit more drama to come in the future. Instead of Thrall having a monologue in his head he is talking to his wolf and Jaina uses her water elemental to drown that ogre. All sort of minor things but they improve the storytelling so much! What a way to use newer graphics to the full potential!

If you've read the novels (Lord of the Clans especially) it makes no sense for Grom to take part in shady warlock business. The dude, despite being the first to drink the blood, spent his life after the second war defying the demonic powers raging in him. At first, I was going to say everything looked good except the talking animations, but the more I watched, the more it looked like the animation was dubbed for another language. I checked the comments, and sure enough, someone mentioned a Spanish version. I started watching the Spanish version. The talking animation was _perfect._ I then rewatched part of the English version and can clearly see where Jaina _says_ "dying," but her mouth clearly moves to "muerto". This is far better than what Blizzard gave us with Warcraft 3 Reforged. All they gave was pretty much just updated graphics, from what I can see. I've never played the original 3 Warcrafts, and I've been watching game movies of the original and Reforged to really see the complaints. People have said the atmosphere was really lost in Reforged, and I can certainly see why now. Fantastic work! I'm going to watch every episode!

Not really. It was great for sure, but Blizzard is making great/better cinematics already.
@NickAltieri5 жыл бұрын
MikaeruDaiTenshi when has blizzard made episodes that tell the lore stories? Blizzard makes a few short cinematics each expansion that usually don’t tell a complete story. I’m talking about making an actual series that go in depth and follows the books. Obviously blizzards stuff look better than this, they throw hundreds of thousands of dollars at it. This guy did a great job, better than any content creator I’ve seen.
@xrhstos915 жыл бұрын
@@MikaeruDaiTenshi this guy put more time into this than you did for educating yourself. And am pretty sure if he had the funds or manpower of blizzard your tiny brain would go bang bang.

It was great! It is a pity, that I haven`t stumbled this wonder earlier. Something like this I want to see, when thinking about screen adaptation of WoW realm. Something like this I expected to see in film. There are interesting story, fights using class abilities and magic (it is WoW still, but not an historic action movie...). Thank very much who has a hand in making and translating the film!

Who else thinks the kind, soft, curious voice of Jaina in Original Warcraft 3 is much better than the actual strong voice we have now (although its also amazing!) Thank you so much for your awesome work sir! Deepest admiration & salute & best regards from Germany & China!
@defenderofthenorth525 жыл бұрын
Well the character is drastically different now. I don’t think the original Warcraft 3 voice would fit her current character and honestly I struggle to think of anything wrong with Laura Bailey’s performance.

She's not soft and curious anymore. So it wouldn't fit.

Well, she's changed. Gotten older.... and she's been through a lot. I like both. But here she's a young adult right? Now she's older, wiser, and wearier.

I love both voices. Jaina is one of my fav chars from warcraft3, and I really dislike how Blizz ruined her char (same as many others) in WoW. Warcraft had deep and complicated characters, wow ruined almost all of them in one way or another. :(
@joshuakim52405 жыл бұрын
I think the voice change is supposed to reflect character development, as Jaina started off a very nice and naive woman and ended up becoming a horribly abused and traumatized fighter.

Before I say anything bad about this video: This is brilliant work that really captures the soul of Warcraft so much better than anything else of the last decade. Truly wonderful. I love this and while I think it's cool to show us Grom getting captured, it is the one black mark on this video. Grom was not with the Blackrock clan at that sacrifice. Thrall's horde was much further south not to mention the Blackrock fragment up north would not be perceived as friends by Thrall's horde.

I'm so happy I came to see this after the Reforged launch. What Blizzard announced dead this january, one of the biggest parts of my childhood, of our childhood, a single guy called José revived. This video made me understand that no matter what the curse Activision and the corruption of capitalism do to our beloved game, our beloved world of Warcraft, people like José, people like all of us, with the game and love in our hearts, wont ever let it die. This passion shall live on forever! And from the ashes of Reforged shall arise our memories that will shake the very foundations of Activision Blizzard.
