It had to happen sometime. I finally got the first DNF of the channel.
(Sad little celebration, I guess? 🎉 🤔 😕)
Just want to make it clear: this was NOT a "terrible book that should never have been published and the author is terrible wah wah boo-hoo." I had a few problems with a few things in here...but they were very important things to me that probably should have been handled differently. Plus, the standards of High Fantasy books back then were nowhere near the level they are today. I'll probably read more Deborah Chester in the future--fingers crossed that I just picked up the wrong book.
