This story is so well written, but I have to admit, it makes me so stressed remembering her bullying situation. It makes me so angry and hurt for her and for all of the victims in real life. Wish I could do more.

That's how you know it's a good story. I only get emotional with the raid, really good books. This one makes me the most emotional, especially the bullying. I wish I could avenge all who have been abused and harassed.

It's funny, Taylor was never going to be a hero, at least as the heroes define themselves. Not pretty enough to be marketable, her power too creepy and she had a functioning morality. Panacea can tell herself she's a good person because she heals others even though she enjoys hurting those under her power. Nightstalker is a malignant narcissistic sociopath who the simplest background/psychological test would prove she had no business having power over anyone. Armsmaster is a complete bastard who is more concerned with his rep and standing than putting down a monster. The heroes are one step above hired mercs with official backing, and not particularly well controlled ones at that.

Jesus, what I was told was right Leviathan really is a status quo changer. Dozens of heroes and villains dead all from a single major battle, it makes sense that Capes would only be tolerated for their major battle contributions to major world endangering threats. It wouldn't make any sense that a world like Worm would even tolerate them without a contribution like that. I like the addition as it's too often in DC and Marvel do the villains kick their feet back and watch the heroes sacrfice themselves over a world ending threat and they think they can take territory or rob places so it's a nice addition that's official rather than an event by event choice. Also screw Armsmaster, he's supposed to look after the Wards and this guy got Aegis killed and put Kid Win in danger for a glory hound 1V1 with an Endbringer of all things. Not to mention nearly getting Taylor, a girl who's in this mess because of him in mortal danger as well.

Listening to this makes me a lot more frustrated with Taylor than I normally feel. I don’t particularly care that she was a villain, but the fact that she continuously goes out of her way to delude herself into thinking that she’s actually a hero pisses me off.

When you do an audio book you should read it through first and then go through and read it again. Any words that you're not sure how to pronounce (like aquaphor or chevalier) take the time to highlight and look up the pronunciation and meaning. Then and only then should you go ahead and record.
