It got pretty hard to carry on at this point in the story. Not because it's bad, but because Sophia and her cronies are so insufferable. It almost just became stressful to read/listen about them, lol. But I'm pushing forward, hoping for some resolution. And yeah, I know almost no one will read this, but I appreciate reading other peoples' perspectives they left behind as they went through the story, so I thought I'd add my own. Here's to you, reader from the future.

Calling Sofia’s teammates cronies is a stretch, other than Sophia they’re all genuinely good people. Kidwin’s internal perspectives and Vista’s standoff with Soph was fucking awesome. I totally agree with the stress though, but getting in their heads is very insightful.

Honestly, it was rather interesting to hear from the younger heroes. I will definitely agree that time spent with Sophia sucked, but it did get me thinking about how her power could have also impacted her worldview, like Rachel. Or maybe how she started to use her power in relation to the trauma that caused it? I got the impression her shadow state could be read as a way to cope with/escape from trauma. However, Sophia uses it in a way that helps establish her place as a predator and projects strength. I dunno, food for thought.
