I completed the Spiti circuit and came back last week .. haf an MRF Zapper Y and Ceat upfront both tubeless.. performed really well .. i was cruising om 80 in patches between chattru to Batal .. waiting for my tyres to wear off and i will also go for Reise probably not the ones for off road..

Hey Akshay, Even i have a Interceptor 650 Black Ray clocked 20000 kms with the ceat Zoom Cruz F Front and Timsun in Rear so wanted to replace both need your inputs So basically how much does the reise Trail-R last as i do most on the tarmac and occasional off roading Please reply here on the grip you get on wet rainy conditons and whats the optimal tire pressure to maintain on a standard basis

I found this Reise tyre to be a great choice. Well, I don’t think it’ll go as long as the stock tyres but yes, the next time I’m gonna change it’s going to be Reise only. It’s great on all surfaces, even on wet roads I found it to be gripping just fine.

@akshayra7 Oh great I ordered a 130/70 r18 63P so the tire pressure front and rear 32 and 38 is enough ?

@subbaiahmoodera7736 it is suggested that when you are riding solo it should be 32front and 36rear and when riding with a pillion 32front and 39rear.

Reise , ceat , MRF which will better for almost highway & which losts longer !?

Well, I’m using Reise at the moment, a good tyre but doesn’t last very long. Ceat, I’ve used the stock ones which I would say below average in terms of performance. MRF, i haven’t used them yet.

Hey I too have this same installed on my interceptor. On the highway, do you hear a humming sound from the rear tyre? Also is it becasue of low tyre pressure?

Not really. Tyres tend to wear off more due to breaking. Although this tyre is made of a softer compound so it might wear off faster than usual.

For off-roads I then to be great. But for city riding I felt them to be too soft, but you can always adjust them.

What about normal road and high speed and corner stability, is it good or not as I have seen some other video where the person says it's bad

I personally found it good at cornering and at speeds on normal road. When I had the stock tyre I did not feel the confidence to corner and at high speeds but with the Reise I felt that confidence, although I would say that it performs good not great on wet normal roads at high speeds as due to the tread designs. But honestly I’m really satisfied with the overall performance of the tyre.

Interceptor with alloy wheels me no such issues. GT, yes usme alloy wheel variant bhi wobble karti hai, for which the RE guys have no solution.

Bro is new Interceptor 650 model mein aapko wobbling issue aa rha hai ? , ek video mein maine dekha tha usmein is same model mein wobbling issue aa rha tha.

Bro mujhe abhi tak koi wobbling issue nahi aaya, but I know someone jiski GT me same issue hai and he has the new model alloy wheels wala model.

The Royal Enfield guys don’t really have a solution for that, hit and trial is there best option.

I would personally suggest that you get the interceptor if you want a much more relaxed stance and the Gt if you are into that aggressive stance. I felt a lot more at ease while moving around in the city traffic on my interceptor. But do that a test drive of the bikes.
