I haven't seen the full fight yet. It's interesting. Willrodt was too fixated on his first foot mawashi geri.

Un toquesito con el pie ... ¡Y le marcan punto! ¡Jajajaja...! Está muy claro el favoritismo. P.D. ¡Qué estilo de karate tan feo!

Todos karatecas lutavam assim, nos anos 70. Kizami mawashi tocou, mas não seria wazari. Árbitro parcial...

@RMON2K98 Frank Brennan, KUGB beat Japanese JKA fighters and possibly some other KUGB fighters beat the Japanese. Don't forget this is just competition, and Tanaka is a legend. JKA instructors train very hard, long hours. It's their life, not a hobby on the side, it's their full time occupation. And the JKA sets very high standards, and don't forget the Okinawan and Japanese invented these arts, it's much more than just fighting and winning competitions, these are budo arts. I'm not sure many westerners really understand the Japanese culture and Zen Buddhism which these arts are a part of. Nishiyama sensei who lived a long time in the US apparently said he spent many yrs trying to teach US students Japanese culture. And he said I don't think it is possible for non Japanese to fully understand Japanese culture, you need to be born Japanese and grow up in Japan
